On 11/03/2026, a discussion was held at ESSI-Nyamirambo to explain the NDI UMUNYARWANDA program to students and educators. The discussion was given by the Unity Club representative, Hon. Dr Ezechias RWABUHIHI, and was attended by the Deputy Executive Director of Nyarugenge District, Ms. UWAMAHORO Genevieve, students, teachers and school administrators. The discussion explained the history of Rwanda and the consequences of division, and highlighted the importance of the NDI UMUNYARWANDA program in promoting unity and reconciliation, patriotism and fighting discrimination. Participants were asked to be characterized by values including honesty, respect and cooperation in building the country. The discussion ended with an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback, where participants appreciated the message they received and pledged to continue promoting Rwandan values in their daily lives and to establish a Unity and Permanence Club soon at ESSI-Nyamirambo. The discussion started at 1:30 pm and ended at 3:30 pm (1:30 pm- 3:30 pm).
