As part of the week commemorating the 1994 Rwandan genocide against the Tutsi, the main hall of the Islamic Cultural Centre in Kigali hosted an interactive lecture on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, on the topic of "The Role of Islam in Combating the Ideology of Genocide." This valuable lecture was delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Musa Sindayigaya, the Mufti of the Republic of Rwanda. The event was met with great enthusiasm from the students of the Islamic Scientific High School of the Centre.
