On Friday, 29 Rabi al-Awwal 1448 AH (corresponding to September 11, 2026), the Mohammed Bashir Al-Maghribi Hall hosted the closing ceremony of the annual competition for the memorization and explanation of the noble Prophetic Hadith. During the ceremony, certificates of appreciation and cash prizes were awarded to twenty-six (26) participants from various provinces across Rwanda, based on their rankings in the competition. Certificates of appreciation were also presented to members of the judging panel and to the representative of Al-Qalam Library, which contributed by providing books on Prophetic Hadith and related sciences to the participants. In addition to the Centre Director General and its Financial Officer, the ceremony was attended by a number of dignitaries and guests, including the Representative of the Grand Mufti of Rwanda; Representatives of the diplomatic missions of the UAE, Libya, Morocco, and Egypt to Rwanda; Representatives of various associations and non-governmental organizations; the Imam of the Centre’s mosque; the Head Teacher of the Centre’s secondary school; and a gathering of contestants' parents, teachers, and students.
