The Islamic Cultural Center in Kigali hosted the UAE Cultural Week organized by the UAE Embassy in Rwanda from November 18 to 21, 2025. The event witnessed notable participation from the high school students affiliated with the center, who engaged with cultural exhibitions, visual presentations, and knowledge competitions that provided a comprehensive glimpse of Emirati identity and heritage. During the closing ceremony of the UAE Cultural Week, held on Friday, November 21, 2025, attended by the acting ambassador, the director general of the center, the high school principal, teachers, and students, the students presented performances in poetry, drawing, and both Rwandan and Emirati folk arts. On this occasion, outstanding students and winners of the cultural competitions organized as part of the cultural event were honored, and the embassy hosted a luncheon to mark the occasion.
